Devlog #5 28/10/2025

This week I have been developing the story and what the plot of the game will be outside of the mechanics, as well as the social commentary we want to have behind the game. 

I've been working on organizing a document that outlines everything I need to write and plan for in regards to story, puzzles, progression and art.

We have been making decisions in regards to the visual design and graphics of the game.  We decided a greyscale colour palette and dithering effect would effectively convey the atmosphere of our game.

Devlog #5 29/10/25

I have expanded on the UI elements that I implemented last week, creating email and photo windows by using the file explorer I created last week as a template. I added photos and other sprite assets to the game to get the aesthetic looking better for the vertical slice.

I redid some older stuff I had put in so as to follow Kaz's ideas. As most of the foundational elements are made I just need to focus on putting in the actual game mechanics next.
